Travel Photo of the Week – vol. 06

20 October 2011 | By Pawel

Topics: Photography, Places, Turkey

Cappadocia is world-renowned mostly thanks to its Fairy Chimneys, the unique rock formations that make this place truly unearthly. The best way to observe them is from one of the many hiking trails spread across the countryside.

This photo was taken during our hike on one of the trails leading from Göreme (a quaint little town and the heart of touristic Cappadocia) to the Rose Valley.

Oh, WOW! That is fabulous. Every time you post, I just think: I have to go to Turkey. These look like the Pinnacles in Western Australia, only bigger.

    Thanks for posting.
